I want to knit a drawstring bag for my drop spindle and roving on the go?

I’ve seen a lot of drawstring drop spindle bags made out of fabric but to be honest I can’t sew 2 pieces of fabric together to save my life. *nervous laughter* Does anyone know if it’s a bad thing to use a knitted one instead. How will it affect the roving and yarn inside of it?

Thanks in advance. :)

The moment you stop learning you’ve already given up. The moment you say that you know everything that needs to be known that’s when you know nothing. I am ALWAYS learning. I am ALWAYS perfecting. And I am ALWAYS eager to know what else for me to discover. // From bottom up: #garterstitch #seedstitch #1x1rib #laceknit #linenstitch and #basketweave // All separated by #stockingstitch

OMG!!! I’m so excited, you guys. I just discovered a beautiful thing called navajo knitting. It is the basic idea and process of navajoply except you are knitting from a single skien of yarn and chaining as you go…ending up with a 3 stranded knitted piece. There are no words to express how happy I am right now. Hence the pic above.

Edit: Here’s the how to link on youtube in case anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtMUTr_yvio

Edit #2: OMG I TRIED TO SEE IF IT WORKS ON CROCHET AND IT DOES!!!
